Apple TV 4K Updated With Hands-Free Siri and Find My Remote
Apple announced a new Apple TV 4K featuring built-in microphones for hands-free Siri commands and the "Find My" feature integrated into the remote control.
Apple has introduced a refreshed Apple TV 4K, enhancing its smart home capabilities with the addition of far-field microphones for hands-free Siri interaction. The fourth-generation device also features the "Find My" functionality built directly into its remote control, allowing users to locate misplaced remotes.
The new model supports Siri AI voice commands without needing to press a button on the remote. Additionally, a new home theater feature enables users to pair up to four second-generation HomePods or HomePod Minis for a surround sound experience.
The updated Apple TV 4K is priced at $299, a significant increase compared to the previous generation's debut price. It also costs $50 more than the current top-tier model, which will be discontinued.
