Apple unable to estimate timeline for resolving iPhone Duo supply shortages
Apple executives report they cannot predict when supply of the newly launched iPhone Duo will meet consumer demand as shipping delays extend into 2027.

Apple has confirmed it currently lacks a projected timeline for stabilizing the supply of its newly released iPhone Duo. CEO John Ternus noted in an interview with Reuters that the company is attempting to increase production volume, but supply remains unable to keep pace with current market demand.
The foldable device, which launched last month with a starting price of $1,999, features a 5.4-inch external display and a 7.6-inch internal screen. Initial consumer demand resulted in a rapid sell-out of preorder inventory, with some current delivery estimates stretching as far as 2027.
While a limited number of units were provided to retail locations during the initial rollout, inventory remains constrained across major markets. The difficulty in balancing production output with high demand underscores the ongoing logistical challenges for the company as it enters the foldable smartphone segment.
