Apple unable to provide timeline for resolving iPhone Duo supply shortages
Apple faces continued delivery delays for the iPhone Duo, with executives stating that it remains difficult to predict when supply will meet demand.

Apple’s latest earnings report highlighted ongoing supply chain challenges for the iPhone Duo, as the company struggles to maintain inventory levels. During the call, Chief Operating Officer Sabih Khan indicated that while production is ramping up, the company cannot currently estimate when supply and demand will stabilize.
Significant shipping delays have forced many customers to wait until 2027 to receive their devices. Retail partners, such as Verizon, have faced similar inventory issues, leading them to offer concessions to customers whose preorders were delayed.
These constraints are notable for Apple, a firm historically recognized for its supply chain efficiency. Alongside these production bottlenecks, Apple is navigating higher operational costs linked to rising memory chip prices, which have been intensified by competition from the artificial intelligence industry.
