Apple updates iPad Mini with OLED display and relocated camera
Apple has introduced a refreshed iPad Mini model featuring an OLED display and a repositioned front-facing camera.

Apple unveiled its latest iPad Mini at a recent press event, marking a hardware update for the compact tablet line. The primary design change is the integration of an OLED display, which improves contrast and color reproduction compared to previous LCD iterations. The company is also offering an optional nano-texture matte finish designed to minimize screen glare.
Hardware adjustments extend to the front-facing camera, which has been moved to the device's landscape edge. This change aligns the Mini with the rest of Apple's current tablet lineup, allowing for a more natural camera orientation during video calls when the device is positioned horizontally.
The updated model continues to utilize Touch ID for biometric authentication rather than the Face ID technology found in the company's Pro-level tablets. The release aims to maintain the form factor's relevance in the market by addressing long-standing requests for improved display technology and updated camera placement.
