Since the introduction of the first Apple Watch in April 2015, Apple has offered more than 1,000 official band variations for its smartwatch line. This milestone was identified through data compiled by Bandbreite, an application that tracks Apple's Apple Watch band releases.
The most expensive band currently available is the Hermès Grand H Titane, priced at 17,999 yuan (approximately $2,460 USD). This luxury option is crafted from titanium with adjustable links and features an "Hermès Paris" engraving. It is designed for wearability, even over a wetsuit, offering comfort and a secure fit.
Apple's range of bands includes a variety of materials and designs. Notable examples include the Rocabar Club band, made from knit material, and the Satin Clou de Selle, featuring a shiny woven fabric. Both are priced at 4,099 yuan (approximately $560 USD). The En Mer band, constructed from polyamide yarn, is listed at 4,499 yuan (approximately $615 USD).
The extensive and varied collection of bands reflects Apple's strategy to allow for significant personalization of the Apple Watch. The company provides consumers with a broad spectrum of accessories, ranging from sporty and casual to high-end luxury options, enabling users to customize their device's appearance.
