Apple Watch Series 12 Launches With Ceramic Option
The Apple Watch Series 12 will be available with a ceramic casing, the first wearable from the company since the 2019 Series 5 to feature the durable and scratch-resistant material. It will come in pearl white and night blue finishes.

Apple has announced the Apple Watch Series 12, which will include a ceramic casing option. This marks the first time since the Series 5 in 2019 that Apple is offering its wearable in the premium, scratch-resistant ceramic material.
The new ceramic finishes will be available in pearl white and night blue. Pricing for the ceramic models starts at $899 and goes up to $949 for the 46mm version. The standard Apple Watch Series 12 starts at $399.
While Apple has not revived the "Apple Watch Edition" branding for the Series 12, the ceramic option is positioned as a premium choice for consumers willing to pay more for the material's properties. The company previously phased out the explicit use of the Edition name around the Series 4 launch.
The ceramic material is chosen for its enhanced durability and resistance to scratches, offering a high-end alternative for consumers seeking a more robust and aesthetically distinct Apple Watch.
