Apple's iPhone 18 Pro Series Sees Strong Pre-Order Sales
Apple's new iPhone 18 Pro series experienced a robust pre-order launch. Sales revenue in the first hour on the Taobao Flash Buy platform doubled compared to the previous year's model.

Apple's new iPhone 18 Pro series of smartphones began pre-orders yesterday evening at 8 PM. The new models, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, with starting prices of 9,999 and 10,999 yuan respectively, sold out within minutes of the sales opening. The topic "Hard to get iPhone 18" quickly topped the trending list on Weibo, China's most popular social media platform.
According to transaction data released by Taobao Flash Buy, the sales revenue for the iPhone 18 Pro series during the first hour of pre-order doubled compared to the same period for last year's iPhone 17 Pro series. Notably, the iPhone 18 Pro Max 256GB model in Burgundy Red emerged as the most popular.
The demand for the new devices drove the total transaction value of Apple's hardware products on the Taobao Flash Buy platform to over 25 times the average daily sales. However, the platform has assured sufficient stock and will be replenishing popular models in batches.
Taobao Flash Buy ensures supply through its network of over 4,000 authorized Apple resellers. For new devices, delivery in some areas can take as little as 18 minutes after becoming available in stock. Additionally, the platform has enhanced its customer service with a "Secure Phone Purchase" initiative, guaranteeing safe delivery and offering full compensation for lost or damaged products.
