AppLovin faces securities class action lawsuit over AI development delays

Law firm Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP has filed a securities fraud class action lawsuit against AppLovin Corporation in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The action concerns investors who acquired securities between February 12, 2026, and August 5, 2026.

The complaint alleges that AppLovin provided misleading information regarding the development status of its generative AI video creative feature and overstated the efficacy of its AI models. Investors claim these disclosures obscured significant development delays and reliability issues, which subsequently contributed to stock price declines when the company reported lower-than-expected revenue.

AppLovin’s stock experienced sharp drops in July and August 2026 following analyst reports and official financial results that highlighted challenges in the rollout of its AI-driven advertising tools. Potential lead plaintiffs have until November 16, 2026, to file their petitions with the court.
