Aqara has expanded its smart home product offerings with a new lighting series unveiled at the IFA trade show. The latest devices are compatible with both Zigbee and Thread standards, allowing for integration into various smart home ecosystems.
A notable addition to the lineup is the Floor Lamp T1. This lamp deviates from traditional designs, featuring an LED-equipped pole mounted on a base. Standing approximately 1.4 meters tall, it offers RGBIC lighting with 18 individually controllable zones. The lamp is designed to cast light outwards, creating colorful illumination effects on surrounding walls.
In addition to indoor lighting, Aqara is introducing outdoor smart lighting solutions. The company states these new outdoor lights are built to withstand environmental conditions and provide versatile lighting options for exterior spaces. Further specifications for the outdoor lights are expected at a later date.
The technology news outlet The Verge reported on Aqara's increased focus on smart lighting, following the company's previous introductions of smart home innovations at CES. Aqara aims to strengthen its market presence by offering a comprehensive and compatible range of smart home products.
