Aracore and Stable to Pilot Institutional Stablecoins in Asia

Digital financial infrastructure company Aracore announced on September 30 a partnership with Stable, a USDT-native layer 1 blockchain network, to explore institutional stablecoin settlement and plan joint pilots in Asia and other markets.

The companies will investigate connecting Stable's blockchain settlement infrastructure with Aracore's Institutional Settlement Network. Aracore's network links banks, payment providers, and digital asset infrastructure.

The collaboration aims to develop cross-border settlement use cases for financial institutions and payment providers with existing transaction demand. Stable is a Tether-focused blockchain project that previously raised $28 million in funding.

The move comes as regulators assess the implications of payment stablecoins for cross-border payments. Wider adoption will depend on compliance with existing payment rules.
