Araris Biotech AG and Taiho Oncology Begin Phase 1 Trial for Novel Lymphoma Treatment
Araris Biotech AG and Taiho Oncology have dosed the first patient in a Phase 1 trial of ARC-02, a new antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) for treating Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Araris Biotech AG and Taiho Oncology have advanced ARC-02 into a Phase 1 clinical trial, marking a significant step in the development of a potential new treatment for Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The first patient has now been dosed, initiating the study.
The trial investigates ARC-02, which utilizes Araris' proprietary nangibody technology. This platform is designed to enable the targeted delivery of a potent payload directly to cancer cells, aiming to improve efficacy while minimizing off-target toxicities.
This Phase 1 study will assess the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of ARC-02 in patients diagnosed with relapsed or refractory Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The clinical investigation is being conducted across multiple sites in the United States and Europe.
Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a diverse group of blood cancers that originate in lymphocytes. While treatment options have improved, a substantial number of patients face limited choices due to disease recurrence or resistance to existing therapies, highlighting the need for novel therapeutic approaches.
