Arasan to Unveil MIPI SWI3S™ IP at Taipei Member Meeting
Arasan Chip Systems will introduce its MIPI SWI3S™ Manager and Peripherial IP on October 21, 2026, in Taipei, claiming it as the industry's first.
San Jose, California – Arasan Chip Systems announced it will present its MIPI SWI3S™ Manager and Peripherial IP on October 21, 2026, in Taipei. The company states this represents the industry's first such offering. Arasan is providing a comprehensive SWI3S™ IP solution, including an SWI3S™ PHY, which will be available on various foundry nodes starting at 22nm.
The company is reportedly working with early adopters on the development of its SWI3S™ Controller and PHY IP cores. Arasan plans to offer a complimentary upgrade to the MIPI SWI3S™ v1.1 specification to existing and future licensees once the standard is officially released.
Arasan claims to offer the broadest portfolio of IP for MIPI® standards, with the new SWI3S™ IP integrating seamlessly with the company's Soundwire® and Slimbus® IP for audio applications. The new solution is available for licensing immediately.
Arasan Chip Systems has been a member of the MIPI® Association since 2005 and focuses on IP cores for mobile and automotive System-on-Chip (SoC) applications. Their offerings include digital IP, AMS PHY IP, Verification IP, HDK, and software.
