The contract has an estimated value of approximately USD 90 million over the firm contract period. This award further solidifies Archer's position in one of the world's most active unconventional shale development areas and is a significant win for its drilling services division.
The new rig will be equipped with "managed pressure drilling" (MPD) technology. Archer states this technology is designed to enhance drilling efficiency and operational reliability, contributing to safer and more effective extraction processes.
