ARCO Design/Build announced the appointment of Brian Shoop as Director of Process Engineering for its Food & Beverage business. This move aims to strengthen the company's in-house process engineering capabilities and expand its turnkey design-build services for food manufacturing facilities.
Shoop joins ARCO from Gray, where he led the firm's Process Engineering practice. With over 15 years of experience, he specializes in designing, optimizing, and delivering production processes and facilities that maximize performance, safety, and reliability. His expertise includes asset lifecycle management and contamination prevention.
The company views Shoop's addition and increased focus on the food industry as a natural extension of ARCO's extensive experience in cold storage construction. ARCO is now moving further up the supply chain into the manufacturing and processing facilities where food is produced.
