Hamburg – ARD-aktuell, a news unit within Germany's ARD broadcasting consortium, is seeking a video curator to bolster the distribution of its 'tagesschau' news content. The position, available from September 1, 2026, or later, focuses on preparing and managing news video for digital platforms.
The video curator will be responsible for selecting and editing video content from 'tagesschau', 'tagesthemen', and 'tagesschau24' for the ARD Mediathek and other digital channels. Tasks include video editing, content management using the Unified/Sophora Core system, and coordination with social video teams and ARD Mediathek contacts. The role also entails monitoring and updating existing content.
Candidates should possess strong news judgment, an understanding of digital content creation, and experience in news or video editing.
