Ardelyx Faces Securities Lawsuit From Investors Over Drug Sales Claims
Investors who lost money in Ardelyx Inc. stock between January and August 2025 may seek recovery. A lawsuit alleges the company provided misleading information regarding drug sales performance.

Ardelyx Inc. (NASDAQ: ARDX) is facing a class-action lawsuit filed by investors who purchased or acquired its common stock between January 13, 2025, and August 6, 2026. The complaint, brought forth by shareholder rights law firm Robbins LLP, alleges that Ardelyx misled investors about the commercial performance and growth prospects of its two core medications, IBSRELA and XPHOZAH.
The lawsuit claims that Ardelyx made optimistic statements to investors about its commercial growth and its ability to overcome market access barriers for its drugs. However, the complaint asserts that the company concealed material adverse facts concerning payer and patient access challenges, including stricter prior authorization requirements and step-edit protocols that hindered new patient starts and delayed prescription fulfillment. These alleged misrepresentations are said to have inflated the stock price.
The situation escalated on August 6, 2026, when Ardelyx announced a reduction in its 2026 IBSRELA revenue guidance and withdrew its long-term XPHOZAH revenue projections. The company cited increased utilization management processes by payers as a reason for the IBSRELA guidance cut and "evolving market dynamics" for the XPHOZAH forecast withdrawal. Following this announcement, Ardelyx's stock price fell approximately 18% in a single trading day.
Robbins LLP is urging investors who experienced losses during the specified class period to contact them by the November 16, 2026, lead plaintiff deadline to inquire about potential recovery. The law firm represents investors on a contingency fee basis, meaning clients are not charged unless a legal claim is successful.
