Argo Infrastructure Partners Buys Solar Portfolio

Argo Infrastructure Partners announced its acquisition of an eight-site commercial and industrial (C&I) solar portfolio from NuGen Capital Management. The transaction includes six sites in Massachusetts and two in New Jersey, expanding Argo's U.S. C&I solar platform.

The newly acquired solar assets increase Argo's operational capacity to approximately 270 megawatts (MW) across 196 sites. The company strategy focuses on long-duration, lower-risk infrastructure assets, with this investment supporting its goal of growing distributed energy generation.

Argo has made several significant infrastructure investments in recent years, including an agreement to acquire UGI Corporation's electric transmission and distribution business in April 2026. The firm manages approximately $7.5 billion in assets.

NuGen Capital Management, founded in 2010, specializes in clean energy development and capital solutions in the United States. The company will continue to support the long-term performance of the acquired projects.
