Ariana Grande sues hackers for leaking songs and videos

Singer Ariana Grande has filed a lawsuit against individuals accused of stealing and leaking her private content. The suit was filed on Monday in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The lawsuit aims to "uncover the identities of these currently unknown and unscrupulous individuals," referred to as "John Doe 1 and John Does 2 through 100." Grande alleges that in 2023 alone, 45 unreleased songs were "hacked, stolen, and leaked," with similar incidents occurring since her musical debut in 2011.

The stolen content reportedly includes "still-in-production, unreleased masters and demos, footage from recording sessions, music videos," among other materials. Grande is seeking court orders to prevent further dissemination of her work and to obtain damages for the alleged harm.

This legal action highlights the ongoing challenges artists face in protecting their intellectual property from unauthorized access and distribution in the digital age.
