Arirang TV to Broadcast Gyeongbuk's "Flavors and Charms" in New Series

Arirang TV is set to launch "K-FOOD: Gyeongbuk Edition," a four-part program designed to present the culinary and tourism attractions of Gyeongsangbuk-do to international viewers. The series will begin airing on October 14 and continue weekly for four weeks, aiming to broaden global awareness of the region.

The program features a "Taste Crew" composed of celebrities such as Shindong, Kwon Hyuk-soo, and Yujeong, who will explore Mungyeong, Pohang, Gyeongju, and Andong. The crew will sample local dishes, visit key tourist sites, and generate social media content from their travels.

Each episode focuses on a specific area: the Mungyeong episode highlights industrial heritage and nature alongside local cuisine. Pohang's episode showcases its coastal scenery and seafood, Gyeongju's delves into the Silla Kingdom's history and modern attractions, and the Andong episode features traditional villages and regional specialties.

"K-FOOD: Gyeongbuk Edition" intends to integrate the promotion of food culture with tourism development. By presenting the province's food, history, and natural landscapes, the program seeks to enhance Gyeongsangbuk-do's international tourism brand and stimulate local economies.
