Arivihan Raises $10.2 Million for AI Tutoring Platform Expansion

Indian AI-driven education startup Arivihan has raised $10.2 million (approximately ₹98 Cr) in its Series A funding round, co-led by existing backers Accel and Prosus Ventures. The Indore-based company aims to use the capital to expand its geographical reach across India, launch new offerings for CBSE students, enhance its AI and vernacular language capabilities, and boost marketing and distribution efforts.

Founded in 2022 by IIT Roorkee alumni, Arivihan operates a fully-automated AI tutoring platform for school students. The platform provides interactive video lectures, doubt resolution, and tailored study plans without human teacher intervention. It currently caters to state board, CBSE, and NEET aspirants, with a particular focus on Class 12 students in tier-II and tier-III cities, as well as rural areas, which constitute 80% of its subscribers.

This funding round arrives amidst renewed investor confidence in India's edtech sector following a period of consolidation and financial challenges. Artificial intelligence is emerging as a key driver for edtech startups, enabling personalized learning experiences, a trend that Arivihan is capitalizing on.

With this latest round, Arivihan has raised over $15 million to date. The company previously secured $4.2 million in a pre-Series A round in July last year and seed funding from Accel's Atoms accelerator program.
