Arthex Biotech Appoints Glenn Sblendorio as Board Chairman
Arthex Biotech has appointed experienced biopharmaceutical executive Glenn Sblendorio as its new Chairman of the Board. The appointment supports the company's growth in developing RNA-based therapeutics.
VALENCIA, Spain, Sept. 29, 2026 – Arthex Biotech, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing RNA-based therapeutics for neuromuscular disorders, has announced the appointment of Glenn Sblendorio as its new Chairman of the Board.
Sblendorio brings over three decades of experience in corporate strategy, finance, and business development within the biopharmaceutical sector. He most recently served as CEO of IVERIC Bio, Inc. (acquired by Astellas Pharma) and previously as President and CFO of The Medicines Company (acquired by Novartis). Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in building and growing biotechnology companies through critical development stages.
