Joint Operations Medical GmbH, developer of Arthrosamid®, a hydrogel injection for knee osteoarthritis, has released significant findings regarding the treatment's safety and efficacy. The company presented 10 years of safety data and 5 years of long-term efficacy data at the World Osteoarthritis (WCO) 2025 conference, held from April 10-13.

These findings further confirm the lasting benefits of the hydrogel injections as an option for managing osteoarthritis symptoms. The company has also been active in forming partnerships to expand patient access and support. These include a two-year collaboration with England Athletics and a strategic partnership with Pure Sport Medicine Group aimed at increasing patient access to the procedure.

Beyond clinical data, Joint Operations Medical GmbH has focused on patient support and rehabilitation. This includes appointing the sports communication agency MatchFit to promote the treatment and launching a new video rehabilitation exercise program designed for individuals with knee osteoarthritis.

Furthermore, public figures associated with the company have shared their experiences. Former GB athlete Allison Curbishley has spoken about her journey to regain mobility and reduce pain associated with knee osteoarthritis. Brand ambassador Sharron Davies MBE has also participated in national media interviews to raise awareness for World Arthritis Day.
