PARIS – Publicis Groupe S.A. shareholders overwhelmingly approved all resolutions at the Combined General Shareholders’ Meeting held on May 29, including a significant governance change that consolidates the roles of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer under one person.

Following the meeting, Arthur Sadoun was appointed Chairman and CEO, taking on leadership of the company's single corporate structure. Maurice Lévy, who chaired the meeting, was named Chairman Emeritus. The board met immediately after the general meeting to formalize Sadoun's appointment.

The approved governance shift garnered approximately 95% of the votes. The company also announced a dividend of 3.40 euros per share, representing a 17% increase from the previous year, with payment scheduled for July 3, 2024. The meeting also saw the approval of the board's new composition and committee structures.

Both Lévy and Sadoun acknowledged the transition. Lévy expressed confidence in Sadoun's leadership to ensure the group's continued success and market standing. Sadoun thanked shareholders and the board for their trust, emphasizing the continuity and capabilities that position Publicis Groupe for further innovation and client transformation in an evolving business landscape.
