Artprice by Artmarket has launched the French version of "Dialogue Between a Thinker and AI," authored by founder Thierry Ehrmann. The book, which addresses the author's responsibility in the era of artificial intelligence, was first introduced in English in September 2026.
The work aims to define the role of AI in creation, particularly in literature, amidst a global debate and regulatory push. In France, the discussion intensified following suspicions of AI use related to a Prix Goncourt nomination.
Ehrmann's choice of open distribution and creative freedom for "Dialogue Between a Thinker and AI" reflects his stance against strict regulation. The book is available under an open license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) for free reading, downloading, and sharing.
The book was generated over a 40-day and 40-night literary experiment, involving over 450 hours of voice-based dialogue between the author and AI. Its English version was released in September 2026, with the French version now available. Translations into Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Hindi are in progress.
