New York – Sing for Hope announced the appointment of Dr. Jill Sonke, an internationally recognized figure in arts and health, to its Board of Directors. The addition comes as the organization celebrates its 25th anniversary and continues to expand its programming aimed at improving health, fostering belonging, and enhancing quality of life through artistic engagement.
Dr. Sonke has dedicated over two decades to advancing research, policy, education, and practice at the intersection of creativity and wellbeing. Her roles include Director of Research Initiatives at the University of Florida's Center for Arts in Medicine and co-director of the EpiArts Lab. Her expertise is expected to be instrumental as Sing for Hope deepens its work across healthcare, education, research, and community wellbeing.
