Asia New Vision Forum Gathers Leaders in Singapore
Singapore hosts the Asia New Vision Forum Innovation 2026, focusing on "Disruption Meets Resilience." Over 300 policymakers, entrepreneurs, and experts convened to discuss sustainable development and practical business solutions.
The Asia New Vision Forum (ANVF) Innovation 2026 opened in Singapore on September 29, bringing together over 300 policymakers, entrepreneurs, and experts from around the globe. The event aimed to explore pathways toward sustainable development.
Launched by Caixin Global with support from the Singapore government, the forum's fourth edition introduced the "Innovation Forum" sub-brand. This marks an evolution from macro geopolitical dialogues to a focus on practical business solutions and industry-level implementation.
Under the theme "Disruption Meets Resilience," discussions covered shifting geopolitical landscapes, advancements in artificial intelligence, supply-chain resilience, energy transition, biotechnology, and emerging market investments. Practical issues such as AI deployment and transformations in Asian consumption, culture, and tourism were also addressed.
Opening remarks by Wang Shuo, Editor-in-Chief of Caixin Media, highlighted the dual transformations of an unraveling old order and AI reshaping industries. Heng Swee Keat, Co-Chair of ANVF and former Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, delivered a keynote emphasizing the need for stability to advance economic restructuring and cooperation amid global challenges. Discussions explored Asia's role as a stabilizing force, investment trends, China's growth outlook, and the implications of AI and cybersecurity.
The two-day forum featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, the ASEAN Business Forum, fireside chats, and closed-door meetings, covering topics from AI implementation and cybersecurity to sustainable development and the future of capital in ASEAN.
