Asian Hall of Fame Announces 2026 Class of Inductees
The Asian Hall of Fame has announced its 2026 class of inductees, who will be honored at a ceremony in Los Angeles on November 5, 2026. The event supports scholarships for "100 Women In Tech, Entertainment, Science & Sports."
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 30, 2026 – The Asian Hall of Fame announced its 2026 class of inductees today. The new members will be enshrined at the 22nd annual Induction Ceremony in Los Angeles, California, on November 5, 2026.
The ceremony supports the "100 Women In Tech, Entertainment, Science & Sports" (WinTESS) scholarships. Presenting sponsors include Chair Melinda Rogers, CJ Group, and TAO. "In times of global conflict, the Asian Hall of Fame serves as a beacon for intercultural collaboration and interracial synergy," said Maki Hsieh, CEO of the Asian Hall of Fame, in a statement. "The 2026 inductees and goodwill ambassadors are role models whose cherished legacy drives culture, commerce, and community for generations to come."
CBS LA anchor Suzie Suh will host the event. Musical director is Ed Roth, a 2022 Goodwill Ambassador. Returning to present the new inductees are past honorees Fiona Ma, William Wang, and Soo Man LEE.
Pre-show festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time with red carpet arrivals, a charity casino, and a pop-up shop. The program commences at 6:00 p.m. with the UCLA Air Force ROTC Honor Guard and the national anthem. The closing gala will feature Miss Asian Hall of Fame ambassadors showcasing traditional attire from around the world.
The 2026 honorees include sports pioneer Hideo Nomo, Miky Lee receiving the Centennial Medal for Professional Achievement, and Sophie Chang honored with the Medal of Honor for Humanitarian Service. The Heritage of Excellence Medal is awarded to Lynn and Steve Valbuena, Rich Le Roy, and Sabrina Castaneda. New member Dave Lu is also among the honorees.
