Asieris Pharmaceuticals Licenses CEVIRA® to Theramex for Europe

Asieris Pharmaceuticals announced an exclusive licensing agreement with Theramex for its product CEVIRA®. The deal grants Theramex exclusive rights in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Turkey, while Asieris retains rights for the rest of the world.

CEVIRA® is a treatment developed for precancerous lesions of the cervix, offering a non-surgical approach. The agreement includes an upfront payment of 15 million US dollars and potential near-term regulatory milestone payments totaling 11 million dollars.

The transaction is subject to certain conditions precedent. Specifics regarding other commercial terms have not been disclosed. This collaboration is expected to advance the development and commercialization of CEVIRA® in key international markets, increasing patient access.
