BFA Global has launched applications for its ASIF Ignite Africa programme, targeting founders in Africa who have developed prototypes for climate adaptation or resilience solutions. The eight-week, cohort-based initiative is designed to help these ventures test their concepts with real users and gather crucial proof points.
Selected participants will engage in weekly workshops covering AI methodologies, customer discovery, lean experimentation, and impact measurement. They will also receive one-on-one mentorship from specialists in AI, product development, and relevant sectors. Access to specific tools and playbooks for testing in low-income, climate-vulnerable markets will also be provided.
The fully remote programme aims to equip founders with refined, AI-enabled business models, evidence of impact and demand, and a strong pitch for external stakeholders. Early-stage ventures showing significant promise may be flagged for future BFA Global funding opportunities.
ASIF Ignite Africa will select 13-14 founders across two cohorts. The programme begins in October, with applications closing on August 17.
