Helsinki – Aspo Oyj has finalized the previously announced divestment of its Leipurin business to the Swedish Lantmännen group. The transaction, with an enterprise value of EUR 63 million, closed today, March 2, 2026, after securing all required regulatory approvals.

The deal included a cash consideration of EUR 62 million paid at closing. This divestment will result in a one-off sales gain of approximately EUR 15 million for Aspo, which will be reported as an item affecting comparability in the company's January-March 2026 interim report. The transaction was structured as a share sale and encompassed all of Leipurin's operations.

Aspo had already classified Leipurin as a discontinued operation starting from the third quarter of 2025. The company confirmed that this divestment will not impact its financial guidance for 2026. Leipurin's employees are now part of the Lantmännen group.

Following this sale, Aspo is focusing on its core businesses, particularly aiming to continue the growth of its Telko segment through acquisitions. Established in 1929, Aspo focuses on sustainable long-term value creation. The company is listed on Nasdaq Helsinki and headquartered in Finland.
