Aspo revenue grows as company prepares for structural separation

Aspo reported revenue of EUR 379.4 million for the first nine months of 2026. The company is preparing for a potential demerger, with a final vote scheduled for early December.

2 November 2026

Investment firm Aspo posted revenue of EUR 379.4 million for the first nine months of 2026, up from EUR 349.8 million in the same period last year. Comparable EBITA from continuing operations rose to EUR 26.4 million from EUR 22.4 million. The company attributed the growth to operational improvements within its Telko division and enhanced fleet utilization at ESL Shipping.

The board of directors approved a demerger plan in August, marking a significant step in the group's strategic transformation. Shareholders are set to vote on the proposal during an extraordinary general meeting on December 7, 2026. The company previously completed the divestment of its Leipurin unit for an enterprise value of EUR 63 million in March.

Aspo has issued guidance expecting full-year comparable EBITA to exceed the 2025 figure of EUR 29.4 million. However, management warned that geopolitical instability and global trade tensions remain significant risks to economic recovery and supply chain stability for the remainder of the year.
