ASSA ABLOY achieves ISO 27001 certification across EMEIA sites

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions EMEIA has announced its achievement of ISO 27001 certification across multiple sites and business units in Europe. The certification now covers 15 key ASSA ABLOY locations, including research and development units and the Nordic business area. The ISO 27001 standard defines best practices for managing information security risks.

This certification demonstrates that the company has implemented systematic controls to protect its information assets, providing assurance to customers, partners, and regulators. It reflects ASSA ABLOY's commitment to digital security beyond physical security, ensuring products and digital services are developed and managed within a controlled environment.

According to ASSA ABLOY, the certification represents a competitive advantage that goes beyond minimum requirements. It also signifies the company's preparedness for the upcoming EU NIS2 directive and the Cyber Resilience Act.
