ASSA ABLOY Extends Installation Support to Faroe Islands

ASSA ABLOY, a global leader in access solutions, has expanded its technical support services to the Faroe Islands. The company deployed specialists to offer on-site assistance and training for local installers, focusing on advanced access control systems like ARX. This initiative aims to ensure smoother project implementations and enhance end-customer satisfaction.

Mads Holmen, ASSA ABLOY's security advisor, and Lars Buch, technical product specialist, visited the islands to conduct training and provide direct installation support to a local contractor undertaking their first ARX project. This hands-on approach is designed to equip installers with a robust foundation for managing new systems, reducing errors, and accelerating project completion.

The company highlighted that close collaboration with both installers and end-customers on-site allows for precise customization of solutions to meet specific client needs. According to ASSA ABLOY, physical presence fosters a deeper understanding of customers' daily challenges and objectives, leading to more effective solutions and stronger partnerships.

During the visit, ASSA ABLOY representatives also discussed access control for critical infrastructure and introduced simpler systems like Access and PULSE to new installers. The modular approach, enabling gradual system expansion, was identified as a particularly suitable solution for educational institutions requiring flexible and scalable security measures.

ASSA ABLOY emphasizes the importance of supporting installers, especially during their initial projects. The company aims to demonstrate physical presence in markets like the Faroe Islands to build trust and strengthen relationships with local partners. The trip reportedly reinforced collaboration and opened new opportunities for both installers and end-customers.
