ASSA ABLOY Sets New Sustainability Targets Through 2030

Locking and security solutions manufacturer ASSA ABLOY has presented the results of its recently concluded 2025 sustainability program. The company simultaneously launched new targets for the coming years, broadening its focus to five areas: climate, operations, supply management, innovation, and people.

CFO Erik Pieder emphasized the integration of sustainability into the company's strategy. "We do not treat sustainability as something outside of our operation; rather, we integrate it into everything we do," Pieder stated. "This approach unlocks both sales growth potential and efficiency. By combining these two aspects, we see sustainability as part of accelerating our profitable growth."

ASSA ABLOY initiated its public sustainability programs in 2007. The recently concluded fourth program focused on three areas: operations, supply management, and people. The new program, extending through 2030, increases ambition and broadens the scope of focus.

The company indicated that previous programs have demonstrated the feasibility of increasing sales while simultaneously reducing emissions. With the new program, ASSA ABLOY aims to ensure that growth and decarbonization go hand in hand, laying the foundation for long-term sustainable growth.
