Assystem and newcleo partner on PLM solution for advanced nuclear reactors

Assystem, an international engineering company, and newcleo, a developer of advanced modular reactors (AMRs), have announced a collaboration to implement a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution.

The PLM platform is intended to structure, secure, and digitalize newcleo's industrial ecosystem. This project aligns with newcleo's digital roadmap and addresses challenges in designing and industrializing its reactor technologies.

Assystem will provide its expertise in engineering and digital transformation to support the deployment. The companies will jointly define the strategy, configure and integrate the platform, train users, and ensure its long-term continuity. Work has commenced with teams in France and Italy.

Assystem stated that the collaboration highlights its growing recognition for digital expertise within the nuclear industry. newcleo's Supply Chain Director noted that the PLM solution will serve as an engineering backbone, accelerating development and connecting disciplines from R&D to manufacturing within a unified digital environment.
