Assystem appointed to major UK Government construction services framework

Assystem has been appointed to significant roles within the UK Government Commercial Agency's (GCA) £3.5 billion Construction Professional Services 2 (CPS2) framework. The company has been selected as a Tier 1 partner within the specialist Nuclear Lot 8.

This designation places Assystem among a select group of organizations approved to provide critical nuclear services to the UK's nuclear sector. With potential contract values reaching £500 million by 2030, this framework appointment underscores Assystem's strategic importance in achieving the UK's nuclear objectives. It supports the government's aims to revitalize the nuclear industry, enhance energy security, and meet net-zero targets.

The framework offers a streamlined procurement route for Sellafield and other nuclear licensed sites to continue accessing specialist services that Assystem has a long history of successfully delivering within the UK nuclear sector. As Europe's largest independent nuclear engineering company, with over six decades of experience on major nuclear programs globally, Assystem is well-positioned to support the UK's expanding nuclear industry through its comprehensive lifecycle capabilities.

Furthermore, Assystem will provide technical environmental services to the Environment Agency under Lot 9b of the Flood Risk and Asset Management (FRAM) framework, valued at £85 million. This initiative aims to improve the efficiency, resilience, and long-term sustainability of critical flood infrastructure across the UK.
