Assystem enters global framework agreement with Babcock International

Assystem has been appointed a key supplier by Babcock International Group to support the delivery of critical defence and infrastructure programmes globally. The new five-year framework aims to streamline procurement and enhance collaboration across Babcock's international portfolio by working closely with a select group of suppliers.

The agreement encompasses a wide range of capabilities, including nuclear, marine, aviation, land, and mission systems programmes, enabling Assystem to support projects across Babcock's operations. Assystem stated this appointment is a significant strategic milestone, allowing for earlier contribution of engineering expertise to Babcock projects and future business opportunities in both UK and international markets.

With over 60 years of experience in delivering complex nuclear, defence, and infrastructure programmes, Assystem brings multidisciplinary expertise in design, systems engineering, safety, project and programme management, digital transformation, and asset lifecycle support. The company highlighted its growing UK workforce and ability to deploy security-cleared teams as key strengths in supporting Babcock's long-term objectives.
