Assystem Expands in India, Strengthens UK Energy Sector Role
Global engineering firm Assystem has bolstered its international presence through significant acquisitions in India and strategic initiatives within the UK energy sector.

Global engineering firm Assystem has made notable moves to expand its international reach and enhance its standing in key sectors. In March 2024, the company finalized the acquisition of L.T. Infrastructure Engineering Limited in India, significantly broadening its capabilities and market access within the country's infrastructure domain.
Concurrently, Assystem is deepening its commitment to the UK's energy transition. The company is actively supporting the nation's decarbonization strategy, focusing on creating high-value regional employment opportunities. This includes advancing work on modular reactor technologies, evidenced by its partnership with Dassault Systèmes to accelerate the development of advanced modular reactors (SMRs).
Beyond these expansions, Assystem continues its significant involvement in the nuclear sector globally. It holds a prominent position in the ITER fusion project and has been recognized in Engineering News-Record (ENR) rankings as a top-three nuclear company. Assystem also divested its 5% stake in Framatome to EDF S.A., part of a broader portfolio management strategy.
