Assystem Named Strategic Partner for EDF and Sizewell C Nuclear Projects
Engineering firm Assystem has been selected as a strategic partner for EDF and the Sizewell C nuclear project in the UK. The agreement covers engineering, digital expertise, and project management for the nation's nuclear infrastructure.

Global engineering company Assystem has been appointed as a strategic engineering partner for the Sizewell C nuclear project and EDF's five-year UK Professional Services Framework (PSF).
Assystem will hold a key role across various contracts, encompassing engineering, digital expertise, project management, and construction management. This support extends to Sizewell C and Hinkley Point C, both large-scale nuclear power plants in the UK, as well as EDF's existing Nuclear Generation and Nuclear Services divisions.
The company brings a 60-year heritage in the nuclear sector and is ranked among the top two independent nuclear groups globally. This positions Assystem as a significant partner for the UK's expanding new nuclear program, which aims to deliver 24 GW of operating nuclear power by 2050.
These new framework agreements are set to enhance Assystem's contributions to the UK's nuclear initiative. Under these contracts, the company will also support the design authority for the main licensees and contribute to generating 6.6 gigawatts of new EPR-generated clean electricity for the UK grid. Assystem has been a partner to EDF worldwide for over six decades, with this latest appointment underscoring a long-term collaboration.
