Assystem has published its latest global PMO Insights Report 2023/2024, examining trends and developments within Project Management Offices (PMOs) in the construction and engineering sectors. The report synthesizes data from over 700 professionals working on major transport, energy, and urban development projects worldwide.

The report reveals that only 47% of projects and portfolios achieve success, indicating a significant need for enhanced project management practices. A key finding is that full system integration increases confidence in successful delivery by 3.4 times. The absence of digital strategies is also highlighted as a common cause for cost overruns.
