AstaReal AB has appointed Mirva Johansson as its new Head of Finance. The appointment aims to further develop the company's financial management amid its ongoing international expansion.
Stockholm – AstaReal AB has appointed Mirva Johansson as its new Head of Finance. This move is part of the company's strategy to bolster its financial management and support its continued international growth.
Johansson brings a strong background in international finance and leadership, holding a master's degree in Business Administration. Her career includes experience in the telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and food industries, notably a 16-year tenure with a Nasdaq-listed US telecommunications group where she held responsibilities at both Swedish and European levels.
"My experience has given me a good understanding of what it takes for a company to grow across multiple markets. AstaReal AB is in the midst of an international expansion, and I look forward to contributing with ways of working that can support this," Johansson stated.
In her new role, Johansson will oversee AstaReal's financial management, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as liquidity planning and risk management. She emphasized the importance of cross-departmental collaboration for achieving common business goals.
CEO Daniel Flodqvist commented that Johansson's broad international experience is well-suited to AstaReal's current growth phase. He believes her financial management expertise will be crucial as the company continues to develop and expand globally.
