AstaReal AB Launches Vegan Vitamin D3+K2 Supplement

AstaReal AB has expanded its product line with the launch of a new vegan supplement featuring vitamins D3 and K2, under the brand name "by Astaxin". The company states the product aims to help maintain strong bones, normal muscle function, and a well-functioning immune system.
The supplement has reportedly been available in pharmacies and health food stores since February 2026. AstaReal AB indicates plans for further dietary supplements under the "by Astaxin" brand in the near future, complementing their existing astaxanthin products.
The vitamin D3 used in the supplement is derived from lichen, offering a plant-based alternative to traditional animal-derived lanolin. Vitamin K2 is provided in the form of menaquinone-7 (MenaQ7®), which the company describes as the most clinically documented and stable form of K2, backed by over 20 clinical studies.
The company highlights that vitamins D3 and K2 work together to support the body's calcium balance and bone density. Vitamin D3 aids in calcium absorption and its incorporation into the skeleton, while vitamin K2 facilitates calcium transport from the blood to the bones. Vitamin D3 also contributes to normal immune function and muscle maintenance.
