Asterion Industrial Partners to Acquire Fraikin for Growth Support

Fraikin, a pan-European provider of commercial vehicle leasing and fleet solutions, has agreed to an exclusive deal with Asterion Industrial Partners, an investment firm focused on European infrastructure. The transaction, expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, is set to bolster Fraikin's growth and its transition towards lower-emission mobility.

Fraikin, which reports approximately €1 billion in annual revenue and manages a fleet with a gross book value of around €3 billion, has undergone a multi-year transformation. Under Asterion's ownership, the company aims to continue investing in its fleet and European operating platform, facilitate customers' shift to lower-carbon mobility, and digitalize its fleet management offerings.

Yves Pétin, President and CEO of Fraikin Group, stated the ambition to establish Fraikin as a leading European infrastructure platform for commercial vehicle fleet management. He highlighted plans for continued investment in the fleet, personnel, and digital capabilities, alongside accelerating the transition to more sustainable transportation.

Asterion Industrial Partners views Fraikin as essential infrastructure for commercial mobility across Europe. The firm intends to support investments in Fraikin's fleet, maintenance network, and digital systems, enhance customer service, and drive disciplined growth. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and employee consultation processes.
