Asti DOCG Focuses on Wines at Vinitaly USA in New York
The Asti DOCG wine region from Piedmont is presenting its wines and heritage in New York at Vinitaly USA, taking place October 26–27. The event will also feature the introduction of Asti Rosé DOCG.

The Piedmont-based Asti DOCG wine region will showcase its wines and heritage at Vinitaly USA in New York from October 26–27. The event offers U.S. trade professionals and media the opportunity to experience the denomination's wines, including Asti Spumante and Moscato d'Asti, presented by producers such as Cadgal, Cascina Castlet, Terrabianca, and Tenuta Langasco.
The Consorzio Asti DOCG, the region's protective consortium, will host a booth (H18-I18) where visitors can sample a wider selection of labels and learn about the territory and traditions behind Asti DOCG wines.
A significant aspect of the event is the introduction of Asti Rosé DOCG to the U.S. market. A toast celebrating this new rosé, made from Moscato Bianco and Brachetto grapes, will be held on Monday, October 26, at 4 PM at the Consortium's booth. This new offering combines the aromatic character of Moscato with the fresh, fruity profile of Brachetto.
Giacomo Pondini, Director of the Consorzio Asti DOCG, stated, "Vinitaly USA is an important opportunity for us to show the American wine community just how diverse and dynamic Asti DOCG is today, while also introducing the people and territory behind our wines. The introduction of Asti Rosé DOCG in New York allows us to share another facet of Asti DOCG while remaining deeply connected to our roots."
