Aston Martin officially unveiled its new DBX GT model today, positioning it as a vehicle that emphasizes "refined luxury" rather than focusing solely on performance. While sharing its powertrain with the DBX S, the GT variant enhances the standard model's luxurious appointments and comfort features.

Exterior updates for the DBX GT include a distinctive two-louvre front grille with selectable finishes and redesigned side air intakes. The vehicle also features new two-piece side sill vaned elements, body-colored lower bumper sections, and 22-inch satin titanium diamond-turned forged wheels. The stacked quad exhaust layout seen on the DBX S has been replaced with a more traditional quad exhaust system.

The interior sees more significant changes, with both front and rear seats benefiting from an additional 10mm of memory foam for enhanced comfort. The rear seating configuration has been changed from a bench to individual seats, though a central seat remains. New interior color schemes, extensive stitching details, and improved sound deadening contribute to a more opulent cabin experience.

The DBX GT utilizes the same 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine as the DBX S, producing 717 horsepower at 6250 rpm and 900 Nm of torque, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Despite its considerable 2245kg curb weight, the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in 3.1 seconds and achieve a top speed of 310 km/h. The exhaust system offers a quieter GT mode alongside Sport and Sport+ settings.

Pricing for the DBX GT has not yet been announced. Aston Martin expects the first customer deliveries to commence in the fourth quarter.
