Aston Martin F1 Team Partners with Zscaler for Enhanced Cybersecurity
Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team has announced a multi-year partnership with cybersecurity firm Zscaler. The collaboration aims to secure the team's most valuable assets.
Formula 1, one of the world's most technologically advanced and data-intensive sports, has a new cybersecurity partner. Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team announced on June 25, 2026, a multi-year collaboration with Zscaler, a company specializing in cybersecurity for the AI era.
The partnership aims to protect the team's critical data, including car design, race strategies, and real-time information flowing between the track and its UK-based technical center. Zscaler's Zero Trust Exchange platform is expected to provide a direct and secure connection for the racing team and its applications, without exposing the network to threats.
During a Formula 1 race weekend, over a terabyte of data can be generated from the hundreds of sensors on each car alone. The real-time transmission of this information to engineers across different time zones highlights the importance of fast and reliable data connections. Both parties operate in environments where speed and faultlessness are critical.
Zscaler, which protects over 45% of Fortune 500 companies, becomes the Global Cybersecurity Partner for Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team. Their branding will be featured on the AMR26 car's nose, seatbelts, and wing mirrors, as well as on the drivers' overalls. The company states the partnership supports the team's pursuit of high performance and its championship ambitions.
