Nestlé Deutschland AG announced the appointment of Astrid Kloos as the new General Manager for Confectionery Deutschland, starting August 1, 2026. Kloos brings extensive experience from various roles within Nestlé across different markets and product categories.

Kloos began her career at Nestlé in 2001 as a Marketing and Sales Trainee. She has since held various positions in sales and marketing for categories including coffee, confectionery, cereals, food, and ice cream. In 2017, she became Customer Sales Director for REWE Group and Kaufland.

Most recently, Kloos was responsible for the Cereals business within CPW's "North Cluster," which encompasses the DACH region and Nordic markets. Under her leadership, the business achieved market leadership in Germany for cereals at the end of 2022 and has successfully defended it since. Market positions and business development have also been strengthened in other countries.

Astrid Kloos succeeds Marc Nussbaumer, who is transitioning to the Confectionery and Snacking SBU. Alexander von Maillot, Chairman of the Executive Board of Nestlé Deutschland AG, congratulated Kloos on her new role and wished her continued success.
