The Asus Cetra Open wireless gaming earbuds, known for their open-style design and versatile features, are currently available at a discounted price for the first time. The earbuds are priced at $206.99 at Amazon and Best Buy, marking a $22 reduction from their original $229.99 price tag.
A key feature of the Cetra Open earbuds is their open-style construction, where the drivers are positioned outside the ear. This design allows ambient sounds to mix with game audio or podcasts, a characteristic that can appeal to gamers who prefer to stay aware of their surroundings while playing.
In addition to good audio quality and respectable battery life, the earbuds offer extensive customization options through a mobile or browser-based app. They also come with a USB-C 2.4GHz transmitter that includes a port for charging passthrough. This allows users to charge their devices simultaneously while gaming, without occupying a USB-C port solely for audio.
