Asus Demonstrates B850 Motherboard's DDR5 Overclocking with Changxin Memory
Asus has showcased its B850M AYW GAMING OC WIFI7 W motherboard, achieving overclocked DDR5 speeds of up to 8400 MT/s when using memory modules from Changxin Memory.
Asus has announced its new B850M AYW GAMING OC WIFI7 W motherboard for the AMD AM5 platform. The motherboard supports overclocking of DDR5 memory modules manufactured by Changxin Memory (CXMT) to a data transfer rate of up to 8400 MT/s.
This 2DIMM slot motherboard reached 8400 MT/s when tested with Golden Bridge's 24 GB x 2 memory kits. Additionally, speeds of 8200 MT/s and 8000 MT/s were achieved with Lexar's 16 GB x 2 memory modules.
Asus also confirmed that Lexar will launch THOR RGB DDR5 memory modules based on Changxin DRAM chips. These modules will be available in 7600 MT/s CL38 and 7200 MT/s CL38 specifications as 16 GB x 2 kits.
