ASUS Releases ROG ZOOM Cat8 Ethernet Cable for Gamers
ASUS has launched the ROG ZOOM Cat8 Ethernet cable, supporting 40 Gbps transfer speeds and a 2000 MHz frequency. It is available in 1.5m and 3m lengths.
ASUS has introduced its new ROG ZOOM Cat8 Ethernet cable, designed to meet the demands of high-performance networking for gamers. This cable supports data transfer rates of up to 40 Gbps and a carrier frequency of 2000 MHz.
The ROG ZOOM Cat8 cable offers four times the bandwidth of Cat7 cables, which typically support 10 Gbps speeds and 600 MHz frequencies. ASUS states this enhancement significantly improves network performance for demanding applications.
The cable features an E/STP double-shielded design to effectively block interference and crosstalk. It is constructed with a high-density braided jacket for durability and uses 26AWG oxygen-free copper conductors to minimize signal loss. The connectors are gold-plated copper to ensure reliable connections and resistance to oxidation and wear.
The ROG ZOOM Cat8 cable is offered in two lengths: 1.5 meters priced at 299 yuan and 3 meters at 399 yuan. These products are currently available in the Chinese market.
